he's saying that he can't invoke executive privilege, the president has not asserted executive privilege, or told him not to testify, or instructed him on what to testify about, AND YET he chooses not to discuss conversations that he's had with the president on the OFF CHANCE that the president MIGHT invoke some privilege in the future. What the hell is going on?

And he just said "executive privilege is not waived in private session".

Remember he just said earlier that he's not invoking executive privilege.
