Door to Door Organics

So I've made my love of Door to Door Organics made known here before. Loved getting the fresh deliveries and not having to go to the store each week for produce. Got local eggs, non-homogenized milk and grass fed butter from them as well. Had been doing it for several months.

Then on Friday I received an email stating they had ceased operations as of THAT DAY! WHAT? No warning, just "see ya won't want to be ya!" Nuts.

Anyone have any suggestions for a similar service? I tried instacart and it sucked. I looked into Shipt but I don't like that it is a monthly subscription (complete with fee).

And for those tempted to respond with a "quit being lazy and go to the store like everyone else", you can shove it.

I do like Kroger Clicklist but then you still have to drive to the store so it isn't the same.

Maybe. I was more into the door-to-door aspect rather than the organics aspect. It was just so darned convenient.

I had no idea that shipt was meijer. We don't need to worry about delivery here other than propane.
