A little more than 24 hours until tip, it appears Michigan State will likely be without star sophomore Miles Bridges when the Spartans play their first game in the PK80 - Phil Knight Invitational in Portland.

MSU head coach Tom Izzo told ESPN's Jeff Goodman on Wednesday that he doesn't expect Bridges to play Thursday night vs. DePaul because of a sprained ankle he sustained Stunday night in the win over Stony Brook. According to Goodman, Izzo put it a 30 percent chance thAt he plays.

That’s too bad. It’d be neat to run one of these and pick up some non conference wins for the tourney resume. Feels like it’s been awhile. Valentine’s senior year? Guess that’s not too long ago. Still would rather watch us play decent competition and not 6th place games.

Well they'll play tomorrow and Friday night. A Sunday game would be against UNC. I'd save him for that game if anything.

We'd have to play pretty bad in the Big Ten not to get a 1 seed (regardless of what happens in the PK80 or whatever the hell it's called).

Yeah, his shot was off. Might be overcompensating due to whatever pain still exists, causing the problem.
