5 Years Ago Today..

I believe I remember President Obama saying it was his toughest day in office.

I can't even fathom any of what happened. Heartbreaking.

yeah some days it's good to remove yourself from social media, etc. and kinda remember what it's like being a human. A living, breathing, feeling human.

The Pro-Life/Pro-gun contingent still insists if those teachers and their principal would have been allowed to carry guns the deceased would have had a chance.

Now that I have a kid of my own this hits me in the gut a little more. :(

yep - not to be condescending toward non-parents, but tragedies like this are definitely more profound when you've dropped your own child off at a school every morning just like the Sandy Hook parents did that morning.

Pure class, and great timing.    I just can't wait till one of the NRA enthusiasts call one of the parents a snowflake for being upset about the party our President threw.

it's the NRA folks - America's terrorist organization - that walk around afraid of their own shadow.. carrying loaded guns because they're afraid to leave the house without them.

I'm not sure they have any right to refer to anyone as a 'snowflake' - but, of course, they will.

NRA leadership is as gutless as President Heel Spurs.

They knew damned well what that day coincided with and it was a backhand to those who oppose them. Trump has staff to catch this shit and he’s just as bad.

I was driving to MSU to pick up my youngest for semester break when my called from the West Coast incredulous that an incident like that could happen in America.
