Probably because 4th of July is on a Friday? Sad to say, but I can't imagine a Friday night is the safest time to hold the event

They want the smallest crowd possible. Pretty soon they'll have them in mid April. Love it but what a sad city.

Detroit and Windsor are so stupid for teaming up to do fireworks on a day that has no meaning.
Windsor should do theirs on July 1st and Detroit should do theirs on July 4th. It's not complicated, but only in the idiot world that is Detroit would something be set up like this.

The fireworks have been in June, and on a Monday for awhile now.
