Getting dumped on today and it's pretty cold. Supposed to be -5 tomorrow.

About to fire up the snow optimist and remove a layer of snow on my lunch break.

Current status = indoors

I’m like no it’s cool, I’m almost done. He owns a gas station down the way, hard worker good kid, his pants were dirty and hands were grubby. I shook his hand said thanks “but really, stick a bill in my door”. I leave the last 1/3rd undone. Wake up this morning.... not done. But now the salt truck has salted the road and turned my enterance into rock hard ice. FUCK. So, what’s the proper move here?

Grab a beer and debate whether to yell at them or finish it. Then grab a bourbon, so it warms you up on the way down while your shoveling. Try to finish both drinks before they freeze. Then get another drinks.

Dog hasn’t pooped since last night. Won’t stay out long enough to get things stirring. Might have to walk her for a block once I get home. Right now, I’m off to the store to get food. That’s right, I’m heading out into the belly of the beast!

Get it done tomorrow when it’s marginally warmer, unless it’s warmer now than what tomorrow’s high is going to be. Simple misunderstanding, likely. But, when you see the kid, tell him neither daughter ever liked him. Better yet, fill up at his station, spill some gas leading back to the pump, light a match and GTFO of there. We’ve all seen your legs, DWags, you’ll have time to vacate.

This is good advice. Drive is clear. Wife says do t bitch to our kid about it. Kid bought the gas station with mom and dads insurance money. They e passed. He’s 22. If I see him at his station I might joke about it but I’ll probably just let it go.

Apparently trying to calm her down by saying it's been this cold before and nothing catastrophic happened was the wrong move.

Bimini. It's part of The Bahamas. 50 miles west of Miami. Tiny island. We flew out on a Sea plane and landed in the lagoon here. There's wasn't a short dude yelling 'daplane! Da plane!' tho when we landed.. That part was was disappointing.
