What the fuck happened to kids offering to shovel for cash? Haven't seen that in at least 10 years and even then it was a kid with a 4-wheeler with a snow blade and a shovel for around the porch.

There aren't a ton of kids around you Pantry. There is one teenage kid on my street but I don't know what his deal is. You should get on nextdoor. Not only is it entertaining as hell to see all of the old people freak out about coyote sightings but there are usually quite a few posts with people looking to clear driveways to make a buck.

I don't give a shit about the driveway except for a small path to the front door. Mostly just want the sidewalk done.

Lost our power from about 12:30 to 3:15 p.m. yesterday. Was a bit worried about the game, but fired up the generator and had the t.v. plugged in and working. Power came on before the game started. Winds actually grew stronger after it came back on. I noticed other neighborhoods and traffic lights were out yesterday and last night. I think my block got block/region got hit early and it was able to be fixed before all the other areas got hit. So, it wasn't a big deal.

yeah - I think the winds picked up later in the day, as did the snow... at least in EL.
