Mr Avenatti was a lawyer in dire need of a business manager to whom he would listen.

If I recall he had former law partners who said they parted ways because he spent more than he produced.  Suing people and corporations with deep pockets is expensive.

Anenatti fell into the trap a lot of lawyers do including the late F Lee Bailey who loved the lifestyle but didn’t have the assets so they used those of their clients.

He was the highest ranked trial lawyer in the U.S. when he practiced in Syracuse. He should have stayed put.
