Andrew Yang 2020?

Yang got failing marks in his appearance before the largest, most powerful Democratic LGBT club in NYC. One person who was on the video conference called it ‘Michael Scott cringeworthy.’ Ouch.

“Gay, gay, gay. Wow,” one person wrote in the chat accompanying the forum, which was later shared with The New York Times. “More to us than just that.”

To Harris Doran, a club member and filmmaker, Mr. Yang’s insistence on referring to members as “your community” particularly stung.

“He kept calling us ‘Your community,’ like we were aliens,” Mr. Doran said.

To be fair to Andrew Yang, the group he was speaking to self identified as an LGBT group. I don't feel like it's exactly unwarranted to refer to that as a community or assume that they might have a specific interest in LGBT issues.

NYT has had the knives out for Yang. Unless there are more quotes that they didn't include, this just strikes me as more of that.

I read his net worth is somewhere between $1M and $3, but could be as low as $850,000. Why are we letting poor people run for mayor of the country's largest city?

The Math is in and I don't think Yang is good for NYC. Maybe he can get a gig in red Iowa.
