word on the street is that the pro-life christian GOP, the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator and the mainstream media will start to blame the administration's incompetence, failure and inaction relative to the hoax on impeachment. Coronavirus - The Political Side - Page 17 502811600

and, of course, the knuckle-draggers will eat it up. Coronavirus - The Political Side - Page 17 3493939353

for when the GOP, the mainstream media and the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator start whining about impeachment distracting the christian leader from a pandemic:

The CDC issued its first warning on Jan 8.
Trump held campaign rallies on
Jan 9,
Jan 14,
Jan 28,
Jan 30,
Feb 10,
Feb 19,
Feb 20,
Feb 21 &
Feb 28.

He golfed on
Jan 18,
Jan 19,
Feb 1,
Feb 15,
Mar 7 &
Mar 8.

The Senate trial ended Feb 5th.

USPS warns it might have to shutter by June as $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus package provides no funding

With a negative net worth of $65 billion and an additional $140 billion in unfunded liabilities, the USPS originally expected to run out of liquidity by 2021 without intervention. That has accelerated rapidly because of COVID-19. Fewer people and businesses are sending mail because of the outbreak, which could hasten the decline of the Postal Service and close its doors as early as June, officials warned.

Yikes.

There are still trillions of pieces of business mail delivered by the USPS annually. Maybe privatizing it is the way to go. That's pretty far over over my head. Not every small business is geared up to deliver everything by email, some of them hampered by privacy regulations and whatnot. Then, what are going to tell all the retired postal workers about their pensions?

If nothing else they keep prices down. It’s the public option of parcel and mail delivery.

Yes. Look no further than the disaster that has been privatizing municipal water systems. Postal service is a public good, and I am skeptical that privatization would be more cost efficient or a better service.

Ok now Birx is saying you really can’t tell if getting an earlier start on social distancing would have held death numbers down. Really?

To Fauchis credit, he said probably.

That is probably the first time I've felt sorry for Pence. Funny thing is, I have a lot more confidence when he speaks. I mean, a professional politician's polished delivery is so much more soothing, even coming from a far-right wingnut.

I don’t understand how they can say social distancing works then him and has about it working better if we’d have started early when it was “just the flu”. This is when I start to question Birx and Fauchi. It’s like they KNOW the have to play a game to get the infant to behave. Kinda like dance for him when behind TV e scenes they plop real data on his desk and say look fucker. This is what you have to do.

I smell a classic overplay here as well. A somber presser acknowledging probably 100,000 or more deaths. Makes me feel like they think their models are getting more focused and they went high on the total knowing they will come in lower. Que the victory parade. Maybe there was a some bargaining going on. Hey we’ll get you 25,000 deaths but we gotta have measure in place thru may not fucking Easter. but we'll sell it at 100,000 deaths when it’s gonna come in at 25k

Keep in mind, and I hate to keep repeating it, but the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator is gonna try yo use this to postpone/cancel/dismiss the results of the election in November.

I think Tang already said that 100,000 deaths would be a success.
Because it could have been 2,000,000 if they just road it out. Because people were telling him to just ride it out. It will go away. Ride it out. Just like the flu. Ride it out.

Like doing nothing was even an option. Even for the biggest of idiots. You don’t get to use that argument. Like a fire department showing up late and 10 of the 20 people inside burn to death. Hey if we didn’t show up at all, all 20 would have died! No, the point is you were late. Your don’t get to celebrate only 10 dying because of your lateness.

Loeffler’s campaign said an investment firm manages the stocks she and her husband own and neither of them has control over the day-to-day decisions to buy or sell fractions of their vast fortune. Instead, their financial advisers’ decisions are based on an investment strategy set well in advance, her campaign said.

Yep, very valid call out of the media. They so desperately want him to be normal that they shower him with praise when he does something they like.

He dropped the tone of his voice for five minutes and they do cartwheels. It’s embarrassing.
