Two major basketball retirements

retirement tours seem a bit nauseating, i'd hope/imagine izzo wouldn't do it like that but who knows

When Izzo retires, how would you guys want it to be?

It was a different era (obviously), but I liked some of the presents that opposing teams gave Jud. Don't see Izzo doing that.

Jud's tour was great.

Coach has an ego like the rest of us. Unlike many of us, though, Tom knows how to keep his ego in check and usually does. My guess is his preference would be for no retirement tour, but if word gets out about his plans, too many people will want to honor him, opposing coaches in particular. Aside from all the message board experts who demand more elite players, more F4s, and more titles, Tom is widely loved and respected. Those people will want to say thank you.
