I think he could catch on. Guy was a freak when he was at msu, don't know how he did when he left but the raw talent was there

49ers apparently have had an eye on him for a while:  

He said he spent 45 minutes talking to a San Francisco 49ers scout after his EMU workout, and Northwood assistant coach Leonard Haynes said nine or 10 NFL teams have called to investigate Winston’s character, the 49ers, Giants, Texans, Packers and Washington among them.

“I think he’ll get a shot,” Haynes said. “Talking to a few of them, they all believe he will be playing on Sundays.”

I read the story about him blowing out his ACL, sleeping on the floor in some house with a buddy in Detroit without heat, rushing for 800 yards for Northern Michigan. I got lost where he is actually on the 49ers now
