Don’t think Danton Cole was a bad guy but with his years of HC coaching experience he was unable to get players on campus and then get results.

Hockey is one of the few sports where there is an abundance of talent. Some years more elite players than D1 scholarships

Nightingale is 12 years younger and it looks like what he wanted and the program needed from a coaching staff n recruiting along with teaching is getting different results than Cole or Anastos were able to get done.

Maybe AD Haller gave Nightingale more money to pay his assistants and Nightingale’s choices are paying off.

Disappointing that OSU won't stand up to hate and bigotry. As an alum I would be more disgusted about this than what the Spartan 8 did. Would be nice if all the talk radio hot take shows would make something of this.
