The Big Ten sucks. I hate this conference. I can never understand the conference solidarity stuff when the conference is loyal to two schools, and now to the extent they try to duck racism.

Posting this more for that part in the image where Anson says what a UM player called him (it starts with "N"....which I guess is why the image doesn't show here). I kind of think that may have come out at the time after a fight in a game, but don't remember if anything was done about it.

Minnesota now up 2-0, late in the 2nd. We're getting chances, but not great ones. More SOG this period but trailing badly 21-11 in that category. Getting a split in this series is going to take a lot of work. Gophers are faster, deeper team it seems to me.

Not to slam the older guys on the team, but this bodes well for the future (hopefully).

A fair amount of the scoring boost has come from MSU's freshman class. First-year forward Daniel Russell leads MSU with 18 points (six goals, 12 assists), with fellow freshman Karsen Dorwart right behind with 17 (seven goals, 10 assists). Freshman defenseman Matt Basgall has 10 points (3-7) and freshman forward Tiernan Shoudy has three goals and seven points.
