If MSU wins only one more game this year, which would you prefer?

A win over OSU. OSU then goes on to win their remaining games and the national championship.

A win over UM. UM then losses to OSU, misses the CFP, and gets steamrolled in the Orange Bowl by Alabama or Georgia.

If OSU lost to MSU they would be unhappy, but they know MSU is their Purdue and shit happens.

UofM would have a total meltdown and spend the rest of the season blaming everyone but themselves.

By two weeks after they would be convinced, they actually won.

Fair enough, either is good but for us old farts beating highly ranked OSU in East Lansing is expected.

Not old enough to have lived through all the years when MSU expected to beat UofM every year, aka 1950 to 1968

I am not sure how you go back, but MSU only has a total of five home wins against OSU.

edit - you might want to look up how many wins any other B1G Tem has at home verses OSU ... FWIW
