I’d love a dose of Tacoma TRD Off Road low self esteem.

That trunk can haul some shit.
You could stuff an entire recently departed Quidditch team in there, and still have room for a shovel and a big bag of quicklime.

There’s one guy in our neighborhood who drives a Rivian. That’s a good looking veehickle.
Yeah but how far Up North can he go?

Dad had a 69 427 Impala SS two-door. Hawaiian Blue with white convertible top. Beautiful car that went like a bat. Every option but air conditioning.DWags wrote:kingstonlake wrote:

I saw a couple of them out in Bend over the weekend along with a few Porsche and quite a few jeeps and lifted pickups that looked like they may have never seen a dirt road. 4runners all over the place and a lot of those looked like people were actually using them for what they're intended for.

Pretty sure he’s got the cash to have strategically placed fully charged Rivians all the way up to the land of khaki and pink.

My parents had the ‘66 Impala in a red two-door. Beautiful car I was too young to drive. By the time I got my license, my brother had already totaled the beast.

Decades-old 4Runners can be found all around Aspen. They’ve long been my favorite suv. Today’s models are okay, but they’ve been suburbanized.

Our company has a couple projects for the Ramcharger. One of them requires two of theseThe Pantry wrote:This thing would likely sell pretty well if they don't put a crazy price tag on it, which you know they will. I like that the ICE only charges the battery. Thing has a helluva range.

One delivered last week. Things are massive, weighing over 12 tons without end effector. 6th axis faceplate the diameter of a cocktail table. For operation, requires a foundation of 42" thick high-strength concrete.

Lifting and placing one the line for the frame & in the frame for the battery pack I presume.
Are these new designs that are more capable?
Does your company have anything to do with the "giga press"?
Re: New Cars
Interesting process running both ICE and BEV vehicles down the same line. Complicated but likely a cost saver during the crossover to EVs.Trapper Gus wrote:The Pantry wrote:One is for a vehicle frame. The other for a battery pack.
