Re: 2014 Fantasy Football thread
Is this a PPR league or no? Anyway, I like the team. Not the greatest RB's around, but you definitely made up for it in the QB/WR department. You may even be able to trade some for a RB. Good luck this season.
My draft is Sunday afternoon, I pick 9th in a 10 league keeper PPR. I have LeSean McCoy kept and am hoping to get the best available WR's. Hopefully Demaryius Thomas for sure.

Standard scoring
Blunt and Hyde are the two RBs I like best... I don't even like Morris but felt I had to take him where I was in the draft.

Re: 2014 Fantasy Football thread
12 person league, and I picked 12th.
QB: Russell Wilson
RB: Reggie Bush
RB: Le'Veon Bell
Flex: Rashad Jennings
WR: Demarius Thomas
WR: Roddy White
TE: Jimmy Graham
Def: Seattle
K: Phil Dawson
Bench: Darren Sproles
Bench: Antonio Gates
Bench: Terrance Williams
Bench: Danny Amendola
Bench: Tony Romo
Bench: Tevon Austin
Bench: James Jones
This is a very high risk, possible high reward draft. I could have gone a lot safer with most of my picks, but I want to be a bully in this league OR finish dead last. Could go either way.

Were Thomas and Graham your top 2 picks? I pick 12th in our 12 team PPR and am looking at Thomas and Brees/Manning for my top 2 picks. All Your Base wrote:12 person league, and I picked 12th.

Would like to see your draft order also. Graham and Megatron have gone top 10 in a couple mocks I've played. I just don't get burning a first round on a WR or TEAll Your Base wrote:12 person league, and I picked 12th.

Graham and Thomas were indeed my first two picks, followed by Bell & Bush, and then Roddy White and Russell Wilson.
By the time I picked, the only "first tier" running back that was left was Alfred Morris, and Washington is going to be throwing like crazy, coming from behind ALL year long.
Look at the offenses my first two picks are in. New Orleans and Denver. Yes, please.

Except that Graham and Megatron were both top 10 in non-QB scoring last year. Graham had 16 touchdowns.
In my other league, they're both my keepers.

This is helpful, as I'm drafting 7th in a 10 team league as well on Friday. And i suck at fantasy so I need all the help I can get. If he's available, I'm taking AARod because I'm a homer and I think he's that good and poised for a big year. From there I tend to not be too solid.

Re: 2014 Fantasy Football thread
So as noted above, I'm drafting seventh in our league. And, I'm a homer. So my question is, assuming both AARod and the Alabama Slammer (Lacy) are available when I'm drafting, who is the better pick? Lacy is listed as #6 overall, as he's coming off a huge year and been working on catching more balls out of the backfield. But Rodgers appears poised for a huge year with a great receiving corps. What's the right move there?

Who are you playing against? Other Packer fans? Standard scoring?
Most likely Lacy

It's PPR. There are other Packer fans in the league. A few Lions fans, and a few Bears fans.

Re: 2014 Fantasy Football thread
I think I did alright. Yahoo graded me a B. This may be the first year I make the playoffs! Or, it just means that you can bet money on Peyton Manning going down in the first few weeks.
Peyton Manning
Montee Ball
CJ Spiller
Chris Johnson
Ahmad Bradshaw
Desean Jackson
Antonio Brown
Sammy Watkins
Mike Evans
Jarrett Boykin
Phillip Rivers
Greg Olsen
James Starks
Andrew Quarless
I can't remember the order I got these guys in. I think it went MAnning, Ball, Brown to start.

Well, when you suck as bad as I do at it, you go into the season with zero expectations.

I suck at this. I am up 7.82 points and have Michael Floyd and Nick Novak going tonight, he has Calvin Johnson and the Arizona Defense. That 7.82 point advantage should be gone with 10:03 left to play in the 1st quarter...

I crushed it week 1. Am going to have the high points for in the whole league, and beat the guy who has the second highest points.
