It's all relative, the higher you get the more things cost but loot is also a little easier to get.

True, don't worry about donating lvl 3 troops for farming / defense. It's part of the game. We War a lot so the higher ups take a blow; but it also depends on who you are fighting. This last war was especially taxing on MJ and others since it was a scUM clan and MJ wanted only highest level troops in CC's. I've been a lower level guy the entire time; whenever I upgrade everyone around me upgrades and I stay near the bottom. I have lvl 1 drags now though and doll those out for farming to make up for the wars.

I should probably head to Agoge to help out soon.

Hey Rook. we're at 43 in Agoge right now so we have some room for you down here. Their have been a few people mentioning a need for a 3rd clan purely for farming and vacation (what Agoge was kindof originally supposed to be). Don't know if we are at that point but thought I'd mention it.

i don't think we need a third clan....it could get messy. I think the agoge wars are pretty laid back. Still had 15 attacks remaining and we really didn't need that many. i think for those that are farming and leveling up, could almost wait to see if they even need to attack in war.

but on another note, they should attack because some of them are downright horrible at it. and agoge is a feeder clan, so those getting called up should be ready and have some what of an understanding on how to attack particular bases.

I've suggested that as an option for a third clan as well. I know I will be working in Europe at the end of June and could really use a place to just go chill at that point.

Yeah that's the thing, if we have a third clan we'll need somebody over there to run it. If someone really wants to take a break they can always just join a random clan or no clan at all.

Agoge is supposed to be the farming / chill clan. Agoge having Wars is fine and good practice and fun, but you need to understand that some people went their specifically since they are not going to have time to war. Thus, we need to not get on people for not being active in Agoge. And there are plenty of not very active members hanging in Agogee.

Agreed. 2 is good

not active is one thing, but not existent is another story.

If they are coming down to agoge to chill, or vacation, it'd be helpful to us in Agoge to be notified so we can attempt to keep track.

Others show some activity but not a lot.  Hard to keep track for sure


EDIT: I'd just boot people who aren't very active but I assume they are either MSU Spartan members on vacation or girlfriends, or kids so I don't want to arbitrarily do so. I accepted then booted someone during the war because they didn't respond, turned out they new LOLO/Biggie or something but I didn't know.

I know CLKJ and he is very inactive / young.

I thought it wouldn't matter if people were inactive in Agoge?

The clan isn't full, so it's not like they're not taking up space that others might want. Maybe just ask those that are inactive if they're still playing the game or not and if they still want to be in the clan? (could be done as an all-clan message)

The problem has become that Agoge wars more that I think was originally intended and non participation is damaging when warring.  I don't know the solution or if their needs to be one but that's part of the issue.

EDIT: that said, we've been winning our wars mostly so

The original idea for Agoge was a place for people to take a break from the main clan to farm or be less active, and a place for new people to build up.
It seems like it isn't really that anymore though, so maybe a 3rd clan is needed to fill that role?

lol we just went full circle. I think a problem is that MSU Spartans is filled up and has some pretty high standards. When Agoge was created it was to clean things up in MSU Spartans and give new guys a chance to learn and build, along with allowing MSU Spartans a place to 'hide out' as needed. It's looking like their really isn't much of a chance for Agoge to move up to MSU Spartans because of the above. If their really isn't a real possibility of Agoge people moving up to MSU Spartans, than they are gonna want to make Agoge a 'mini' MSU Spartans (lower level players but plenty of warring etc.)

I can see both perspectives. If Agoge wants to battle, then vacationers and farmers could hurt their chances. Clan Wars can be a drain if trying to farm/upgrade.

Yeah I don't have an answer. Just thoughts to clarify the issues.

dmgryl is a girlfriend. I can't recall who.
Ethan (lvl 35) is my son - 7 yrs old.
Kellen is a son of someone, 7/8 ish.
eshow is emoney's son (or the otherway around) but somewhat active and went to Agoge to take a break.
rawr is someones son, 7/8 ish
Lolo is biggies son, 7/8 ish.
idgvjbfhfjbv is someone's son, 7/8 ish


lewishol was booted from MSU, feel free to boot if he becomes an issue.
am bob no one seems to know. probably can boot if he is a problem.


That being said, I'd leave it generally to Zip or the then leader to boot. Feel free to suggest someone be booted though. People either need to be active, or be an MSU Clan member taking a break, or I guess a son. Randoms who show up need to play or be booted.

Zip, Eshow when to take a break, supposedly. Gyro was moved down do to lower activity, but is a good member generally.

I kind of like the idea that Agoge is the 'mini' MSU Spartans clan and it would probably help us with wars if we had a 3rd clan for people specifically NOT wanting to war at all. Then people that are not active / want a war break from Agoge could drop to the ACTUAL farming/no war clan and come to Agoge when they want a 'mini' full blown clan. I have been trying to donate more and be useful leveling up my troops haha.

Agoge has about 80% of its members that want to war a couple times a week. It is sort of becoming the mini msu clan.

Hey just to keep everyone abreast, we agreed to hold off on war until tomorrow so we'd actually war on Thursday.  Will that give enough time for some to jump down and assist or will we basically be on our own?  (It's fine if we are just checking)

the MSU war ends on Thursday at around 10:30 am ish. If you wait so battle day starts later on Thursday you may get more help.

I'll check with Sparty and see what he thinks. We may just go ahead and see how we do with who we have. Thanks Rook

2 hours in and our clan is sticking to plan. No attacks yet. They have 12 for 31 stars. Most of their guys are attacking UP. No looters yet.

They only have 49 members. We should send a spy to see what they are saying about us. Need 1500 trophies to spy.

Interesting. Was hoping for looting... They might wait to last minute to do that also...

17 attacks. 41 Stars. One looting attack by a lower level. It's 4 AM there now so no activity for a while.

Are we still silent?

26 attacks for 50 stars. 6 or 7 looters so far. They have TH7, player 41 with hogs and lvl 2 drags attacks. Gemming like crazy.
