Yup, extremely boring after the NFC game. Plus, I hate the fact that it's illegal to touch Tom Brady.

This game blows. I did say the same thing about the NFC game with about 5 minutes left as well.

They have cheated in the past. If they did this it wouldn't surprise me.

I'm just busting the guy's balls.
That said, this is a non issue and certainly didn't affect the outcome of the game.

Because the pats beat the ever loving shit out of the colts and diff it by running the ball. No matter what, the patriots were winning last night.
Thus, non issue. I don't believe they deflated the ball illegally anyway.

It seems delayed balls would be easier to hold and there for less likely to fumble if you were going to run a lot.
In not saying the Colts win with properly inflated footballs, but to say it had no effect on the game is inaccurate.

Re: AFC Championship Game
11 out of 12 balls underinflated by 2 lbs. It sounds as if the only punishment is going to be a $25k fine and a loss of a pick.
Can anyone explain to me how cheaters never prosper, or whatever that saying is? All I notice in business is that those without ethics advance and are rewarded, those in sports that cheat win championships.

Yet another innovation by Belichick and the Pats. Always pushing the game forward.

Couldn't agree more.
When the whole bounty thing came out for New Orleans I was wondering why the whole 'spy gate' wasn't a bigger issue. That kind of cheating is terrible for the game.
I think Kraft has too much influence as an owner and his team is in a huge market.
Also, I have to say this tarnishes Brady's legacy imo. scUMMer or not he's one of the best to ever step on the field. No way I put him above Joe Montanna with all of the cheating his team does.

I thought it was complimentary, there's no question he's on the Mt. Rushmore of all time QBs in the NFL. I can't put him as the GOAT though with the highly questionable call he benefited from and the rule breaking. Wouldn't be fair to Joe Montanna.

but only SCum could bestow someone of such questionable moral character upon the NFL.. just another reason to hate them.steveschneider wrote:

To be fair it's probably coming from Belichick not Brady.
Also, why cheat against the Colts?

"just following orders" sounds like the sort of limp-wristed excuse SCum would instill in it's.. errr.. "student athletes"...steveschneider wrote:
