Nick Castellanos is easily my least favorite Tiger after Joe Nathan. He's supposed to be decent at the plate, especially after all the years lauding his hit tool. Nevermind that he had one of the worst defensive seasons ever for a 3B last year.

Castellanos has no approach at the plate. Just swings at the first pitch and it stalls the offense. Wish the Tigers traded him when they had the chance for a good player (believe they turned down trades because other teams wanted him).

Costellanos has definitely had the weakest bat in the lineup.

Felt like they should of had Yoenis steal 2nd before Costellanos goes swinging.

They wouldn't be so bad if he took a few pitches. It's one thing to GIDP after taking a few pitches and making the pitcher work, but it's another to just wildly swing at the first pitch and kill a rally because of a lack of plate discipline (especially when it happens multiple times like today).

Not only that but it's the rainy season. Early starts give them a lot longer to get games completed in the event of rain delays.

Would like to see Ausmus shake-up his interleague lineups from day-to-day to get Victor's bat in the game. He can still play 1st and Cabrera can still play 3rd.

Hahaha! I think Nathan still has a valuable arm and i hope they use him as a set up or a strike out specialist. If they can just get him to accept a different role I think it would be all good.

Yeah, I guess they are going to mix it up. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what they are going to do.

I'm a fan, definitely enjoy hearing him in the booth. I liked it last year a lot when it was Rod, Jack and Mario in the booth. All three worked well imo.

That was a good win. Still kind of irritated about the loss yesterday, but it was great to see the team win a game without needing 8 runs on the board.

Gerritt Cole, who was the first overall pick in I think the 2011 draft. I was expecting him to be good, but the Tigers impatient approach at the plate really helped him out though.

I really wanted this team to challenge 1984's 9-0 start, and eventually the 35-5 start. I'll be more mellow with losses later on as long as they aren't in the same repetitive fashion haha.
