Have you considered the Lte565-F5 from from Sony? It has an iPulsar quantra-refluxspulsion with a Kevlar reinforced casing. The 88" model has a gigatubular perpaflexion monitor that allows for great flexibility when viewing with the family.

My brother-in-law has a 42" plasma. He lives in NoCal and had to order it before that state banned their sales.(energy usage). Like IzzoCourt's experience, the plasma picture blows away the new 55" Samsung he bought late last year. The plasma got moved to the study / office. The only drawback is it requires so many watts he needed to to install a dedicated outlet and added a new circuit.

This!   Unless you are sitting 5 feet from the TV don't buy anything under 60".   Crazy how small a 47 or 52 looks in this day and age

Costco has been the least expensive I have seen and spend an extra $49.95 for the extended warranty.

They will exhange a bad TV with no hassle.

I swear that every time I scroll through the thread titles I mistakenly read this one as "MTV is dying"

I do the same thing. The first time opened it I was confused by the lack of discussion about MTV since I thought the thread was about MTV.

I'm thinking about installing the anti-iLactose 45e3+O supragravillator to the TV to curb these sorts of behaviors.

Don't let the TV go outside or use the phone.
