Actually, any 22.5" Weber kettle would work. The Performer is quite a bit more with the main additional benefits of the large side table and gas start under the chimney...very quick, but not generally needed while on vacation.GRR Spartan wrote:DWags wrote:Piece of shit or worth it? TIA
POS on the combo grill.
It's your cottage. Get a Weber Performer and a chimney starter . Go to Gordon Foods and use their hardwood coals.
If it's too damned cold for charcoal it's too damned cold at the lake. That's when you go out.
Agree. GFS lump is a pretty good deal.

Yeah, sucks hanging out with friends and family enjoying the day while slow cooking dinner and having some beer or whatever enjoying the backyard or cottage after a horrible winter. I can see where you're coming from. Damn friends and family just get in the way.
But if it's hanging out in your moms basement waiting for Monday and that mid management job, it just can't compare hey nucky.

Forgot to mention...have had the carcasses of a couple smoked birds simmering in a pot since last night, along with feet from some of their poor comrades
