IT geeks - Amazon and Firefox Empty IT geeks - Amazon and Firefox

Anyone else have trouble with Amazon bogging down their browser.  I'm a bit of a power shopper.  Which means I'll search for something and that just opening items into new tabs (I have a mouse button that does that, awesome).  Anyway... any more than 3-4 tabs, and the Amazon pages start slogging.

I'm running the latest build of Firefox with Adblock and Ghostery keeping things clean on a Core 2 Duo P7350 @ 2Ghz with 4 MB RAM (W7-64)

Any tips to get these loading better/more responsive?  I'm rocking a quality SSD already.

I'm gettting like 20-30 Mississipis before I get a useable page when I open a new Amazon tab. It's not for lack of kickass broadband either.

I sure hope Bob is able to weigh in IT geeks - Amazon and Firefox 1811933421

Solved my own problem with the Googs.

Added a YesScript extension. Blacklisted Amazon which keeps it from running Java. Life is good now.

I'll still entertain any thoughts though.

I haven't used firefox since they essentially copied Chrome's layout. I'm aware that this doesn't help you or answer your question, but fuck it.
