His opinion on this is void.
My response is beef up the cfb regular season schedule and I'll show a lot more interest. I'm not interested in a game that I know is going to be a blowout.
With a four team playoff, programs are not going to beef up there OOC schedules. They are going to be as strategic as possible when it comes to scheduling and avoid unnecessary risk.

I agree. I've seen intensity post it before when he calls out the SEC for scheduling weak OOC schedules and then hiding in their own conference. I think they deserve a huge share of the blame for the current state of very diluted schedules.

If MSU and Oregon both make the Playoffs this year, it will show that the committee is looking at schedule. I think part of the B12 snub, wasn't just the lack of a conference game, but their OOC scheduling. Baylor is fucking pathetic. What I really hate though is the SEC scheduling a cupcake in November. They get a bye, then an FCS team then their rival? What kind of BS is that? I think this year, if there are 2 B1G teams, a PAC12 and B12 team in the playoffs, hopefully the SEC will change their glorified pussification of scheduling.I agree. Expand to 8 teams, guarantee that the winner of the conference championship game goes to the playoffs and 3 wildcards, and scheduling could get a lot better, since the impact of OOC won't be as big.

Hard to argue against the idea of every conference winner makes it. That should be it period. You win your conference championship from the SEC, PAC, B10 and B12 you are in and there should be no ifs ands or buts about it.
After that you have your two wc spots that the selection committee could pick.

I personally don't think the Big 12 deserves a dedicated spot at the table.steveschneider wrote:InTenSity wrote:

They had two teams in the top 10 and three teams total in the top 25. That's pretty consistent with all of the other conferences. All of the conferences had at least two teams in the top 10...
B10 - MSU and OSU
SEC - Alabama and Georgia
PAC Oregon and UCLA
B12 TCU and Baylor
ACC - Georgia Tech and FSU
All made up the top 10.
Also, i forgot the ACC in my list. Five teams should be in the playoffs if they win their conference and 3 wcs as intensity outlined.

Reading some stuff in the football previews about it being #1 OSU vs. #2 MSU in November is making me downright giddy. Most excited I've ever been for MSU football.

9.7 but I like it more when it's colder. Or at least not in the 70s and above.

I am a 0.
College football is a brutal and dehumanizing sport that exploits young people often from already marginalized communities, and reinforces dangerous norms about gender and sexuality.

The kid was a “12” 4 short years ago. Now he’s a “7”. It’s a shame what weed has done to the kids ability to focus. I want my old OTPT back. Intervention?
