Yawn, shooting was in a parking lot at 1:15am - at this point it's no other known connection to the community college. So yeah, pretty close to what most people consider a "school shooting".....but why be clear when you can use innuendo?

Would Vegas put odds up that there will be another school shooting by January 9th 2016?

I think it would be a pretty cool thing to do. Vegas puts out odds like 1000/1 that there's a shooting next week, then progressively gets less every week for three months out. We have to end it at three months out because everyone knows within three months there will at least be one school shooting. So, at that point, I'm thinking the odds would be 1/1.

Look, we don't give a flying fuck about the actual shooting, in fact it's all just entertainment at this point. So, why not make it a bit more interesting? Odds on school deaths.

I'm excited about this. I think I'm a God Damn Fine American for thinking of this.

Always someone who ruins a great idea. I think if you get a friend to murder a bunch of kids at school you shouldn't be able to take the money you've bet. That will be a rule.

What makes the shooting of someone in an apartment complex near a college more significant to you? I don't see these kind of reactions to the ongoing killings in Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, etc. Are the lives of those that are hanging out near campuses worth more?

I know I'm just a crazy old fuck but people are freaking out over 20 murders per day in the US, "school shootings" included. In the meantime we abort 2700 babies a day and that's just normal business, anyone that opposes that is a fucking kook.

I don't consider this a "school shooting" It was an argument between groups and someone started shooting. It just happened to be on a campus.

Not in the same category as random freakshow shows up and starts shooting unarmed people.

It's in a different category is what I'm saying. I'm all for gun reform, but it's not necessary to fudge numbers in order to have an overwhelming argument to that end. This isn't like Columbine or Sandy Hook or Oregon or Denver. This is a conflict that turned violent.
