Anyone ever go to the alumni game watches?

Just moved down to Philly a few weeks ago and the alumni chapter here does game watches on Saturdays.

Has anyone here ever gone to an alumni game watch? I wouldn't mind going out and meeting people, but it's also a lot cheaper and easier to sit at home with a couple six packs and flip through the channels and make something to eat myself...so I'm kind of torn.

If I was in your situation I'd probably go, but set the DVR in case you feel the need to bolt at some point.  Then you can always finish the game at home if you don't stick it out.

I did go to a Pistons game in about 1985 with the Oakland county alumni group.  Didn't know anybody in the group despite growing up in the area.  Just wanted to hang out with some Spartans and meet some new people.  Didn't make any lasting friendships but had a good time.
