I don't think he should have been charged, but I think he did it. There are just too many "coincidences" with him and Jay had no motive. I feel like Adnan was smart as fuck and just knew how to manipulate and charm people. Jay was involved, and didn't want to get fucked so that's what led to all the confusion.
I also don't buy that Adnan has no idea what he was doing that day.. I think you would remember the day that the cops called about your missing ex girlfriend.

It's been a while since I thought about the case, but I think he did it. However, there was a lot of reasonable doubt and quite a few issues with timing and proving he was ever in position to kill her. On top of that, the fact that Jay never told the same story twice is problematic. I think he was involved, too. The whole case was a clown show. That is what helped make it a great story. The detectives zeroed in on him and stopped looking elsewhere. The prosecution was pathetic and borderline unethical. His defense attorney was sick and probably totally checked out. The case was re-opened in November.

As far as Adnan, I'm pretty conflicted. Former defense attorney, so all the shit that went wrong makes me insane, and I think he shouldn't have been convicted. Doesn't mean he didn't do it. I also don't find it suspicious that he doesn't remember what he was doing on a particular days a zilly years ago -- as they pointed out in the series opener, that doesn't mean jack. None of us can. And by the time you go picking through stuff in your brain for twenty years, no question your memories are swiss cheese.
So. Fucked if I know. All I know is, he shouldn't have been convicted in the first place, so it wouldn't make me unhappy if he got sprung.

Just finished the Adnan podcast. Holy hell was that thing about 4 episodes too long. It was good at first but it really started to drag for me. Koenig's east coast Jewish drawl started to become really annoying too.
