Why do college football stats matter?
In most sports, I would think that stats are useful. I think they might be a good talking point in College football, but also believe they are very misleading. One QB can play a bunch of mediocre teams, be considered a great QB, while another could face 6 or 7 teams with secondaries that are some of the best in teh country and be considered mediocre. I've always hated when people talk about stats in college, maybe it worked with 10 school conferences, but now with 14-16 school conferences, even that isn't even. Just curious is all.

I think those stats are meant for experts like Spartan Rocky. He crunches those numbers and then turns them out into easy digest previews for the upcoming games.

Because college football is all about trying to prove your team is better than their team on a message board.

According to a select few, stats are actually more important than scoreboards.

I think you're getting stats and stars mixed up. Easy mistake with the t and r so close to each other on the keyboard.Travis of the Cosmos wrote:DWags wrote:27-23 matters

Average star rating is a stat intensity and it is more important than those "stats" that the other guy posted.

Scores aren't stats. Those are scores. Stars are stars, sometimes suns, but they aren't stats.Travis of the Cosmos wrote:InTenSity wrote:
