Where do you even get that number??
Here's an analysis of his tax plan. It's not a 100% glowing review, but it actually fucking works. And there's no tax bracket higher than 46.5% and that is for the top 0.1% which equals about 100 people nationwide. Stop being a lying pussy.

I may have been lying. But you are a liar!!! #CUCKED
Sanders argues that most people’s average income tax rate won’t change, but this is only true if you exclude the two major taxes meant to pay for his health care program: a 2.2 percent “premium” tax and 6.2 percent payroll tax, imposed on incomes across the board. These taxes account for majority of the new revenue Sanders is counting on.
But it gets worse: his single-payer health care plan will cost 80 percent more than he claims. Analysis by the left-leaning scholar Kenneth Thorpe (who supports single payer) concludes that Sanders’ proposal will cost $1.1 trillion more each year than he claims. The trillion dollar discrepancy results from some questionable assumptions in Sanders’ numbers. For instance:
Sanders assumes $324 billion more per year in prescription drug savings than Thorpe does. Thorpe argues that this is wildly implausible.
“In 2014 private health plans paid a TOTAL of $132 billion on prescription drugs and nationally we spent $305 billion,” he writes in an email. “With their savings drug spending nationally would be negative.”
So unless pharmaceutical companies start paying you to take their drugs, the Sanders administration will need to increase taxes even more.
Analysis by the Tax Foundation finds that his proposed tax hikes already total $13.6 trillion over the next ten years. However, “the plan would [only] end up collecting $9.8 trillion over the next decade when accounting for decreased economic output.”
And the consequences will be truly devastating. Because of the taxes on labor and capital, GDP will be reduced 9.5 percent. Six million jobs will be lost. On average, after-tax incomes will be reduced by more than 18 percent.
Incomes for the bottom 50 percent will be reduced by more than 14 percent, and incomes for the top 1 percent will be reduced nearly 25 percent. Inequality warriors might cheer, but if you want to actually raise revenue, crushing the incomes of the people who pay almost 40 percent of all taxes isn’t the way to go.
These are just the effects of the $1 trillion tax hike he has planned — and he probably needs to double that to pay for single payer. Where will he find it? He’ll go where European welfare states go.

Although not scientific I thought this MSN poll was interesting in that 25% of responses want Trump to be the next to drop out of the race. Obviously not going to happen, but it might speak to the growing Trump backlash when only 9% of responses want Cruz out.

I KNEW that guy was a fucking liar.....no wonder SD identifies with him.
How a $300 tax deduction proves Donald Trump makes less than half a million dollars
How a $300 tax deduction proves Donald Trump makes less than half a million dollars
One of the enduring mysteries of Donald Trump is just how much wealth he has. Forbes pegs his net worth at $4.5 billion, while Bloomberg News puts it at $2.9 billion. The GOP front-runner himself has said he's "really rich."
Maybe, but Trump's income is low enough to qualify for a New York state property-tax break that most high-rollers don't get.
It's called the STAR program, which stands for the New York State School Tax Relief Program and has been around since 1997. It offers an approximately $300 annual benefit for those who qualify. Hundreds of thousands of New York homeowners get it.
Here's where it gets interesting for Trump: To be eligible for STAR, a married couple must have annual income of $500,000 or less. One wouldn't think a guy as rich as Trump claims to be would qualify, but records filed with the city's Department of Finance show he received a $302 STAR benefit on his latest property-tax bill for his Trump Tower penthouse on Fifth Avenue.
That means whatever his annual income is, it's less than $500,000. (The state defines income for STAR purposes as federal adjusted gross income minus the taxable amount of total distributions from annuities or individual retirement accounts.) And Trump would have to have declared his New York apartment as his permanent residence and sent the state a copy of his federal income-tax return in order to qualify for the $302 tax break.
"It's strange that a billionaire would apply for a $302 tax benefit and, moreover, that he would take it," said Martha Stark, a property-tax expert and former New York City finance commissioner who is now a lecturer at Baruch College. A Trump spokeswoman had no immediate comment. By the way, the city finance department checks with New York state tax authorities every year to make sure applicants for the STAR benefit have income under $500,000.

It strikes that person odd that someone would want to save $300? Billionaire or not, $300 is still $300.

This is what is wrong with the US. $300 to a billionaire is not the same as $300 to a family of 4 making $50,000 a year. That is just greed by the billionaire, he doesn't need a $300 tax break.Giant Moose wrote:It strikes that person odd that someone would want to save $300? Billionaire or not, $300 is still $300.

ABC/WaPo national poll: Trump’s lead declines, Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich all gain
Dip into the crosstabs and you’ll find that, among non-Trump and non-Cruz voters, Cruz wins … 72/17. In other words, if the field clears, virtually all of Rubio’s and Kasich’s support goes to Cruz over Trump. No wonder Cruz suddenly seems keen to finish off Rubio in Florida by starving him of conservative votes there; if these numbers are right, Cruz could beat Trump the rest of the way even if Trump has Florida in his back pocket.

Stop posting the WSJ polls. They are an embarrassment to political science and have been wrong every time by a huge margin. Nobody cares about them and they have been proven to be biased. They have had Cruz winning states he has been demolished in and have had him up nationally on Trump for months. Total failing paper. Sad!

$300? I'm sure Trump could make up for it on profit margins by producing goods in Mexico, China, and Holland.
My guess is he's fudging a bit on his taxes. But, I'm sure you don't see it that way.

eh, not really. Both parties have been effing everyone in this country for years. I used to be republican until they lost their minds and started to be the party of "who can make the biggest campaign contribution to me, that's how I'll vote on the issues that most affect this country".
