Looking at pictures of that road, they need a guard rail or at least a warning arrow pointing. Fucked up. My god, what a tragic loss to everyone. One of the best and brightest.

247s reaction is beyond creepy to this tragedy. Duffy and I are in total agreement on this. That thread is an embarrassment, posters need to be banned, and thread completely deleted.
.....but they won't since that's how Snake and the rods roll over there...

I'll read this thread some other time. This is like a roundhouse punch to the balls. I have no idea what Sadler wanted to do with his law degree, but I always expected him to wind up conquering the world, and make everybody laugh while doing it. If ever there was an example of life not being fair, this is it. RIP.

The 1st amendment guarantees freedom of speech not freedom of consequences for what you say.
That said, I think they're going a bit overboard trying to prove who can be the tougher interwebz guy.

Actually, it does. Freedom from consequences.... From the government. You won't get arrested. That's it. They can't stop other things that can happen to you when you open up your stupid mouth.
I can't believe how many people never seem to understand that it's about what the government can do to you, not business or people or anything else.
But also maybe we could talk s out this in another thread? I dunno. This doesn't feel very approps.

Just read some tweets. Apparently the Wisconsin kicker (or former, not sure) was hosting them at his house. They all left the camp together in two cars. He went one way since he's familiar with the roads, and the GPS took Sadler another way. Can you imagine what is going through that poor kid's mind right now?

Or the LSU kid who survived. I can't imagine going through something like that.

Looking like the other dude, Zach Jerger or whatever, is going to get fired. Someone emailed his work's HR department and they replied with a stern message. They said they're looking at the info, and the HR rep they spoke to and the head of the company are Spartans.
He gone.
He gone.

Meyer, who punted for UW from 2012 through last season, acknowledged Monday he has been grilling himself with questions since the accident:
"Should I have insisted that they follow rather than letting them use GPS with them not knowing the area?
"With them not knowing the area should we have all been in one car?"
...
The Nebraska and Michigan State coaches and players will have to deal with that painful transition now. Meanwhile, Meyer is hoping to secure a graduate assistant position for the 2016 season. That plan seemed far off Monday.
"That is the last thing on my mind right now," Meyer said quietly.
Fuckin' brutal.

Crossed my mind yesterday on why they would be on a road like that. Makes a ton more sense now. So many things had to be set in motion at precise times for this freak accident to happen. Hard to wrap your mind around it.WhiteBoyHatcher wrote:Just read some tweets. Apparently the Wisconsin kicker (or former, not sure) was hosting them at his house. This is pretty much just like when Lacey passed for me. I actually cried both times. Actually, a lot, for some reason. Both times.
Lacey made me sad because she was just a baby. Sadler makes me sad because that kid was a fucking hilarious genius, and he was, also, just a baby.
