Raspberries reminded me of Eric Carmen's fellow Clevelander, Sonny Geraci, he made some money off this one

I've seen Ian live more times than any other artist, somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 shows. Windsor, Detroit, EL, Chicago, Cleveland, London, NYC, Los Angeles, San Juan Capistrano.
I love the guy. Love his work with Mott the Hoople, his early solo stuff up to Short Back N Sides was stellar - then after a hiatus he's come back very strongly the last 15 years or so. Still a prolific writer and performer at 77.

Not a hit...but posted in memory of John Wetton who died yesterday. RIP.
And some of his more mainstream work from the 80s.

Sonny passed away last week at 70, a couple years after having a brain aneurysm. He was a great guy.I.B. Fine wrote:Raspberries reminded me of Eric Carmen's fellow Clevelander, Sonny Geraci, he made some money off this one
This song actually is late 60's, but close enough. You may remember it more recently from some Toyota commercials

I was never a MH fan but for some unknown reason this song popped into my head a couple of hours ago.

For some reason I was listening to Lionel Ritchie/the Commodores tonight. I'd forgotten how damned sappy their songs were. Whew.

Watching this video makes me think it's where Floyd learned most of his dance moves.....

Unpossible. I have three left feet when I'm on the dance floor.

One of 5-7 Detroit bar bands from the 1975-85 era that ended up in the "could have been" bin. Always liked this song, was resurrected in 1981 and got some MTV airplay then.
Dave Edwards is still playing around town occasionally.
