haha just finished watching the replay. Can't believe I missed our win! I don't think the team likes to play when Minney is in net, Lethemon gets the W and is 2-8-1 on the season, he's 2-2-1 in his last five starts, allowing 13 goals for a 2.76 GAA. The freshman should look to be the #1 next year IMO as he seems to have gotten over the freshmen hump. Freshman Logan Lamdin had a 2 goal night and Freshman Sam Saliba added another. Sophomore Cody Milan added a goal and two assists and Senior Thomas Ebbing scored one as well. Freshman Damian Chrcek was a stalwart defensemen posting a +3 plus/minus. MSU played with high intensity early and pressed to$u defense into some costly turnovers as Michigan State went up 4-0, but then the Spartans sat back a little and the Buckeyes utilized a pair of PP's for 2 goals, and netted a shorthander. However they fell short as the MSU held on to win 5-4.  If only this effin' team could play this way at home as they are now 5-6-1 on the road this year. State plays the buckeyes tomorrow at 8pm in Columbus and then finish the regular season facing one of nations hottest Minnesota in Minneapolis (3/10 730pm ESPNEWS, and 3/11 8pm TBD). The B10 tournament gets underway on 3/16. MSU will face the 3rd or 4th seed which will be o$u or penn at 4:30pm or 8pm on BTN on 3/16.

The Big Ten announced on Saturday the bracket for the 2017 Big Ten Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament, with Big Ten Champion Minnesota collecting the top seed after earning its fourth consecutive Big Ten title. The 2017 Big Ten Tournament will be played Thursday through Saturday, March 16-18, at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Mich.
Minnesota, which won its lone Big Ten Tournament title the last time the event was held at Joe Louis Arena in 2015, led the conference with 43 points this season and a conference record of 14-5-1-0. Wisconsin enters the tournament as the No. 2 seed, earning a first-round bye along with Minnesota. The Badgers claimed their highest seed in the Big Ten Tournament since winning the inaugural event in 2014 after finishing this season with 36 points and a 12-8-0-0 record in conference play.
The tournament will open at 4:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, as third-seeded Ohio State challenges sixth-seeded Michigan State. Thursday’s second game is set for 8 p.m. as fourth-seeded Penn State takes on fifth-seeded Michigan. The Buckeyes finished third in the conference standings with 35 points and a record of 11-8-1-1. The Nittany Lions placed fourth with 31 points (10-9-1-0), while the defending tournament champion Wolverines claimed fifth place with 22 points (6-12-2-2). The Spartans finished sixth with 13 points and a record of 3-14-3-1.
Friday’s semifinals open with second-seeded Wisconsin battling the winner of Thursday’s OSU-Michigan State game at 4:30 p.m. Friday’s second semifinal will feature top-seeded Minnesota facing the victor of Thursday’s PSU-Michigan contest at 8 p.m.
The Big Ten Tournament championship game will take place at 8 p.m. on Saturday. All five games will be broadcast live by BTN.

Yup lost 6-3, only could catch part of the game. Michigan also got thunderstruck 4-1. Some talking heads talking about the end of Red... and how about scUM parting ways with Red before we fire TA... hole-e-phuck
