I love the pirate, he's funny as hell, but there seems to be incidents on his teams where he doesn't get along with people and takes extreme action.  Or, maybe he just constantly speaks his mind and if it's his truth we can all go to hell.

Same. I'm struggling trying to remember the last Heisman ceremony I was actually excited for. Probably Charlie Ward in the mid 1990s.

Remember that one year when Lorenzo White was invited to the Heisman ceremony? That was neat.

I remember being really stoked when the Lions drafted Andre Ware.

I thought it was also pretty funny when Reggie Bush gladly returned the Heisman Trophy.

I remember when Pat Summerall got excited and said "Andre Ware is warming up on the sidelines!" the very first time. I've tried to find that audio clip a few time but no luck.

I was at the Monday Night Football game at the Silverdome with the 5 Heisman winners Barry Sanders, Bo Jackson, Marcus Allen, Rodney Peete, and Andre Ware. That's when I started to think the Heisman might be overrated.
