I know zero about law but want 10 pounds of flesh. Those parents bought their clearly disturbed child a fucking gun.
Lots of people do. It’s human nature. But vengeance can’t be a part of our justice system. There are already way too many people who would prefer the old way of frontier justice without bothering with courts.

Change Healthcare is part of UHC's Optum business unit or subsidiary, which in the last quarter of 2023 had operational earnings of $15.9 billion while United Health Group as a whole had earnings of $32.4 billion. That's pretty impressive, or gross, depending on how you look at it.

I just got transferred to Optum for my prescriptions, supposedly it's more convenient. So instead of going to the local pharmacy and picking up my auto-fill prescription Optum will send me a thirty day supply with the same copay. No savings whatsoever except in time. I'd much rather interact with a human when it comes to my prescriptions instead of an unwavering website.Floyd Robertson wrote:GRR Spartan wrote:Thru a sibling I learned that Change Healthcare, the company that acts coordinates payments between its owner United Health and pharmacies, clinics and hospitals has been held hostage by ransomware group Blackcat.

I reluctantly retrained myself and use the single space now, but I like the double space better. It looks like the end of a thought. A single space after a period looks less like a stopping point than a comma does.

I was raised playing Scrabble that same way, where if you added onto a word you could get all of the points and bonus points from the original word. It was quite a shock when I left home and found out how Scrabble was played on the mean streets.
