I am not even sure about that defense as Wagner missed like 5 wide open 3s.

Overall as a fanbase we are pretty lucky that Michigan lost. That is a really good team playing great ball right now with all the right pieces to make a legit Championship run. At least offensively. I suppose they lacked a defensive presence in the paint and were pretty poor on d in general.

Agree for the most part. Multiple players who can make a shot, get to the rim. They had all the right pieces except an athletic post player. Oregon smothered the post. Made them very one dimensional. And they still almost won. Imagine that team with a legit big.

Was talking to some uofm guys last Friday when we were smashed at the bar. Our MSU contingent basically agreed that was a fun team to watch and if they had different jerseys we'd really enjoy them.

Condolences to y2k, I like that dude. And I agree if they had different unis on I would have liked that team and following and watching them, especially after the plane crash.

Very curious to see if Movitz or DJW consider early entry. Neutral hat = I don't think either's stock will ever be higher than it is right now.

Was also thinking down the stretch that Simpson is not ready to run the team and take over for Walton. Might get there one day (kinda doubt it) but he's not going to be there next year.

Wagner did not play his game tonight. He had a few bunnies right at the rim early and missed all three. Then he started jacking up 3s that were bricking left and right. Beilien ended up benching him down the stretch because of it. Just a bad game for him. And yea, the 3's weren't falling for the most part but this team has won games without making a ton of 3's. Just couldn't get a rebound when it mattered most and missed short on the final shot.
