Bit over the top but yeah.
Condolences to y2k, I like that dude. And I agree if they had different unis on I would have liked that team and following and watching them, especially after the plane crash.
Very curious to see if Movitz or DJW consider early entry. Neutral hat = I don't think either's stock will ever be higher than it is right now.
Was also thinking down the stretch that Simpson is not ready to run the team and take over for Walton. Might get there one day (kinda doubt it) but he's not going to be there next year.
I actually think they both need another year. Wagner has a ton of talent that he's starting to tap into but he's still pretty inconsistent on the offensive end and poor on defense. Wilson has developed an outside shot that the NBA will love but he needs to learn to play stronger in the post on both ends. Neither of them rebound the ball particularly well, although part of that might be Beilien's system. Don't know where they'd grade out in the draft as I don't really follow that stuff at all.
I agree with you on Simpson though. He's made way more terrible plays this year than good ones. I don't get it either. How was he Ohio player of the year? I'm just happy if he gets an assist or a layup here or there. He needs to improve substantially this summer to even be average next year. Tall order.

Terrible possession but did WVU get a shot clock reset on an airball?

Watching this KU/Purdue game thinking how this year would have been with Swanigan/Bridges/Jackson all on the team.

Pretty sure that I noticed 11 seconds on the shot clock just after the air ball. But then he threw up another that got rim.WhiteBoyHatcher wrote:Terrible possession but did WVU get a shot clock reset on an airball?

I grabbed Kansas -6 live in play at the last tv timeout and called it a lock to my buddies at the bar. Let's test the L Word Rule.

Kansas is beating Purdue worse than they beat us. So that's nice. Also Purdue came close in the low 50s like we did then Kansas took off. #observation

Nice flop, not that it matters, Purdue is already on break, despite the game clock.

Yeah. It occurred to me as soon as I did it that I should have merged the other two into ours. Sorry :(

Wow, should've bet the farm. I only bet $20 like a bitch. No one's gonna be Kansas if they keep this up. Very impressive

I thought Kansas would win but did not expect such a blowout. That made me feel better about our loss, we were competitive for longer than Purdue was and Izzo had a way better game plan. We were doing fine until Ward got a bs foul and had to sit down.

55-54 Kansas when Ward got the 4th.
Never forget.

Schilling and The unlv kid would have helped. NC? No way. But those two or Davis would have made a big difference. Then again, would Ward have developed so quickly? When Bridges got hurt he was on an island. Sink or swim and the kid was swimming like Mark Spitz much of the year.
I'm sure we'll have idiots blame Izzo for schilling for the unlv kid getting hurt even for Davis leaving. In hindsight he picked up a grad transfer and had schilling in his pocket. Just bad luck. Guy knows what he's doing.
