Izzo didn't do a bad job. He didn't do a good job though either, this year. I sometimes think younger guys are hesitant early in their careers because Izzo will ride them so hard or pull them quickly.

Fair assessment Dude, I think this was one of the harder jobs for Izzo this year considering I don't think he's ever been in one like it.

I honestly was really surprised scUM was playing so shitty early in the B1G as I honestly thought they were going to contend for the B1G this year so their late year running was expected. I'd be disappointed as a scUM fan that they didn't make the FF tbh

Next year, no excuses to not grab a top seed in the NCAA. Should roll through the B1G that won't be that good again next year.

Why? Walton doesn't have great size to finish and refs swallow their whistles at the end of games.

His three was a good shot, it wasn't contested.

No issues with a good look from 3 to win the game if down 1 from your best player. Jacking up a terrible three 3 though is normally what occurs.

With 9.4 seconds left, down 1 point...the plan was 5 out with EVERY player outside the 3 point line and no chance for a rebound after the shot?

It's not a one man team. Walton doesn't have to take the shot. He could have pick and rolled with Wilson. He could have drove the lane and got fouled (or at least taken a shot with everyone crashing the boards).

Down 1? You take the ball to the hole.

But...keep sticking up for UM. It's cute.

Some differences:

Oregon was lucky to survive to be honest. They got lucky they were so dumb. Maybe um expected them to foul, so they no one went and penetrated. Oregon should have fouled with 1-2 seconds left since they had 2 to give still. Or at least 1.
