Wags...I obviously have no definitive proof for the whole town. But there are actually 3-4 minority families in town now in addition to a couple more mixed race couples and I've never seen anyone treat them differently. Could it happen? Of course it could. I've just not seen it nor heard of it. I'm actually of the belief that the day to day treatment of minorities in small towns is better because there is very little anonymity or blending into crowds. If you act like an asshole to someone you're going to run into them again, whereas that's not always true in a city. Again, not definitive - just my experience in more places than just Mio.

That did occur to me. I had a RE license for 35 years so know better even if I were inclined to discriminate.....they would need to try harder.
