I don't really follow the recruiting that much. How many are we taking for the 2020 class? 4 or 5? How is the class looking?
We're losing Winston, Langford, Ahrens for sure, due to graduation. If Tillman continues to improve as he has over the last few years, he really needs to look at the NBA, and already having a daughter, I hope he does. The last possiblity I would put at leaving is Aaron Henry, if he has a breakout year.
3 guaranteed spots, 1 probably and 1 maybe? Is that what others are thinking, or am I off here? I know very little about the incoming freshmen, but I'm assuming none of them are 1 and done.

We have 3 spots for next year, as Cassius, Ahrens and Langford graduate.

Two are taken: Sissoko and Jalen Terry. The third is probably going to be PG AJ Hoggard, who is rumored to be committing to MSU in a few days.

If Henry and/or Tillman leave (at least 1 is likely imo) we would have additional spots.

You realize that Butler will be busted next year for recruiting violations. But at the very last minute when the coach is resigning from Butler in shame at a Presser Scooby will grab the coaches hair and pull off a mask only to reveal..... COACH K!

I appreciate the efforts Travis. But this wasn't like a whats his name that went to Depaul thing. I'm surprised no one wanted Scoobs. From what I've read, he's a winner. No B1G team was really after him other than NU. He was down to Butler, NU and WMU. Hell Juwan should have taken him.

Fuck man, that kid had some crazy athleticism. First I've heard of it. I doubt it was because of the Hog man, Hog man was more of a combo guard. Terry is a pure PG.

Even though the program will be entering its post-Cassius Winston era, there could be a potential logjam at point guard.

I was wrong on this, in reading more, the Hogg man is a true PG not a combo guard. And some in the know are saying we took a risk on this one by recruting him and getting him to commit and we lost. Apparently Terry is saying we are still in play.

Read through the Rivals thread where people were arguing about this. Crazy how people just attack each other over silly details and opinions. Anyway, my interpretation is this..

The Hogger has played PG all his life. He played some off guard in AAU. He came here to compete for PT. He's a PG, but if that didn't work, he will play where ever he can get on the floor. He wasn't concerned about the amount of guards on the roster. Love this kid already. I also believe that Izzo isn't stupid. He knew there was a risk of losing Terry regardless and he's not going to coddle recruits.

Yeah, true all of that. That rod dude watches a lot of AAU and has a lot of contacts in that circuit. Him saying that this is like losing Cassius Winston when he was a Senior was a little concerning. He's not typically a pearl clutching type. Oh well, we'll be fine either way.
