But don't worry, I'll bet Fox "News" covers it more than enough for everyone else... because, you know, all that fair and balanced tripe.
Get back to me when it gets covered 1/100th of the the Russian farce. These people had complete access to the data and intelligence on the servers of 20+ Democratic members of Congress. DWS THREATENED the Capital Police Chief over this investigation.....I'd be willing to wager that more people go to prison over this than your whole Russian thing.
It remains fascinating to me that you can't accept the word of the top national security services and a high number of republicans in Congress that Russia inserted itself in the '16 presidential election. The hubris displayed is mind-bottling and on a level not seen here since Antineosporin posted here. Are they beta-testing 22nd century intelligence gathering technology exclusively with Mio residents?

Trump tweeted out this morning that Russia meddled in the election and spread misinformation.

The president of the United States encouraged police officers to rough up suspects of crimes, which is sort of ho hum and expected at this point. The disturbing part was the police officers that were cheering wildly at that comment. Completely insane, but I guess also expected from our high school educated police force.

Would Hatch just use one of those thin paper seat covers, bust out his travel size Wet Wipes, call for a custodian to bring a sponge and a bucket of hot water loaded with bleach, or pucker it til he got home?

I'm gonna put this here. Dustin Mix is the son of one of my best friends all the way back to Jefferson grade school in Manistee. Dustin is and always has been a pretty liberal person, but unlike many of us, he gets his hands dirty in places other than a keyboard.

In the old Studebaker complex.....if you're ever in the area there's a pretty decent restaurant in the old Studebaker mansion. Interesting place to view while you eat.

Did I just see Ken Starr on T.V. saying that "it's very dangerous for a special prosecutor to go on a "fishing expedition"???
No, it can't be THAT Ken Starr, correct? It has to be someone who looks like him. Someone who wasn't the President of Baylor during the rapes and cover ups, didn't investigate whitewater and only came up blow jobs. It's not that Ken Starr. Please, someone tell me this man didn't go on t.v. and say that. Please, anyone, just lie to me.

That Ken Starr still has wealthy friends on GOP circles. He'll say anything that will get him more speaking fees.

Presidents don't pass legislation. They facilitate it via their platform in the general election. They along with their party get it done. Usually you tie together all the campaign promises they make and the party coming together by endorsing the candidate in order to get it done. Unless of course you're a pathological liar. Then it's tough.
Hope that helps.

Trump held a photo opp/party in the Rose Garden to celebrate (the House) passing a health care bill. Maybe you should take it up with him.
His inability to work with a Republican controlled House and Senate to pass any major legislation (health care, tax reform, etc.) is an indication of how poorly he's doing his job.
The President does have to sign bills you know, and the White House is playing a role in trying to pass legislation (particularly with repealing and replacing ObamaCare...it's something Trump campaigned on...remember?). You can argue about whether he's "passing" legislation. It's just semantics and you know it, and frankly it makes you look desperate and silly (to deflect and defend Trump in this manner).

Yes. Yes it does. Points out that the popular meme is fake news. Again.
But I hope Dems keep comforting themselves with fake stuff.....and Russia!!!......etc. Meanwhile the Atlantic may be catching on to something...
Someone Just Noticed That Trump Is Getting Stuff Done
Achievements: After weeks and months of fixating on tweets and Russia, someone in the press decided to have a look at what the Trump administration has been up to since January. Lo and behold, they discovered that it's getting a lot done.
"Trump Has Quietly Accomplished More Than It Appears" reads the headline in the Atlantic.
"With the Trump administration's chaos sucking up all the attention," the article begins, "it's been able to move forward on a range of its priorities.... It is remaking the justice system, rewriting environmental rules, overhauling public-lands administration, and greenlighting major infrastructure projects. It is appointing figures who will guarantee the triumph of its ideological vision for decades to come."
It goes on to detail these achievements, many of which we've highlighted on these pages.
Trump Has Quietly Accomplished More Than It Appears
There is so much attention paid to the chaos in the executive branch that it’s easy to come to believe that Trump is getting nothing whatsoever accomplished. Even for people who don’t support the president’s agenda—especially for them, in fact—it is useful to step back occasionally and take stock of what this presidency is doing to work toward its goals.
Keep posting those memes.....

Right on cue.
No other post WW2 President has bragged about accomplishing so much while doing so little.
How about that repeal and replace business.
Did anyone tell him Hillary Clinton lost the election?

I wonder if at that particular time many still feared the president turning king like and rejected some presidential appointees just because of that.

The golfing President who blasted his predecessor going to his Trump owned golf club where he'll be charging the Secret Service rent and charging his green fees to The White House.
And he'll be watching a lot of TV news just he does at The White House.
Maybe he'll learned not to celebrate legislative victories early.

Fake shit.
1) I do not think anybody here needs a basic civics lesson, but thanks anyway. It was very nice of you to offer.
2) Trump set himself up for this criticism. During the campaign it was Trump saying "on day one," or "in the first 90 days" at every campaign stop. Everyone minus the approximately 63 million Trump voters knew he could not keep those promises.
3) Where is new healthcare legislation? Where is tax reform? Where is an infrastructure package? Those are the major pieces of legislation he promised to have done within three months. I know Trump's most ardent defenders constantly have to ignore Trump's own words so they can slither around a good point, but he set himself up for this criticism with his big mouth and ignorance of politics.
4) While a president does not pass laws, they are intimately involved in working with members of Congress to get laws passed. Trump does not know how any of this works, and does not know how to wield informal power related to the lawmaking process. He is clueless. For a guy that considers himself a grand deal maker, he certainly cannot figure out how to bargain with Congress to make sure legislation gets done. He is not very good with the power of persuasion.

The sage of Mio defends Trump at every turn.
Trump is the egotistical fool who thought he could pass legislation on the strength of his personality.
Then he follows up losing on the health care front by whining about a Russian sanctions bill he signed.
