Sweet home Wyoming.

I like how the little girl appears to be pointing the pistol at the little boy’s head.

Clearly a family gun safety class is needed.

Larry Mitchell Hopkins, 69, and his group United Constitutional Patriots, also plotted to target Hillary Clinton and billionaire George Soros, according to a tip received by the FBI.

He claims he was inspired by the 1933 burning of the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft, a German sexology research institute known for its massive library of books on homosexuality and "transsexualism," a term coined by its founder, Magnus Hirschfield.

Just fucking brilliant.

I'm really pessimistic about everything in this arena. I was thinking about it this morning reading some stuff on Ireland/Northern Ireland, and I honestly think there's a good chance this culminates in a Civil War. I don't mean tomorrow, or in 2 years, but down the line.

Some on the left are angry about Trump, for sure. I mean most sensible people have a degree of disgust about it, though I wouldn't necessarily call it anger. Other than the far far left Antifa side, I've yet to see the anger rise to the "willing to fight for it" level. But I have definitely heard that sentiment from the right, even those who I would say are more towards right center than far right. Not just on the internet but real people. That anger is just going to grow. It is not going away. If Trump gets 4 more years he's going to continue to stoke it and further the divide. Or if he gets beaten and someone on the left gets into office to, it's just going to make the right even angrier. Eventually that anger is going to bubble over and even though I don't care enough to be "willing to fight for it", someone is going to have to fight back.

The Dems should nominate John Kasich or something. Might be the only hope.

Someone other than the guy who repeats himself over and over tell me I'm crazy.

It’ll bubble over into increased domestic terrorism, but that’s about it. I do think that if you’re thinking of an armed insurrection then you’re crazy.

Also why Kasich when you could just vote for Biden. 6 of one half a dozen of the other.

Why Kasich? Because he's on the right and will make that contingent less angry.

Yeah I would say that's the demographic Steve. Just off the top of my head my one conspiracy theory buddy (Girbaud's brother) who has said he would absolutely fight if someone came to take his guns. LWS has said it before. I have another childhood buddy (distancing myself) who is for sure angry enough to fight. He hated Obama so much that he literally, verbally, told me he wanted him to die. A) no one is coming to take anyone’s guns B) the angry white man contingent is mostly all talk. It’s part of their “I’m a big tough male (but actually I’m scared of boogie men that don’t exist)” schtick.

So your Kasich theory is that liberals should give up on policies they care about and let the angry white man contingent win for fear of an armed insurrection from whackos? That’s.... well I guess it’s one way to look at it.

Yeah, and we saw out in Oregon those far right guys shut down the capital a few weeks ago. Still going off the pics mostly in their mid 40's. It's concerning for sure. I just have a hard time picturing people forming armies and fighting with their neighbors, folks in their community etc. If Trump loses in 2020 and doesn't leave we might see your theory put to test.

It's not some grand plan I have, it's more or less just musings on a message board and a fear I have as to where we're heading. It's like we are on a teeter totter. The Obama admin teetered a little too far for the right wing's liking and now we tottered too far in the other direction. It will be interesting to see what happens next. I fear that at some point we're going to teeter or totter too far and the fucking thing is going to crash into the ground or launch someone into orbit.

The right wing didn’t hate Obama because of his policies.... he could have been the most middle of the road guy (which, well, he was pretty damn close anyway) and they would have hated him.

Can't say I know much about his policies or where he stood on the political spectrum. Like I said I did not pay attention to politics BT because it was uninteresting and non threatening. I guess I always assumed that Obama's push for UHC and Obamacare was kind of what set them off on this whole "Socialist" BS.

I often say "If we had never had a Barack Obama, we would never have had the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator"..

something about a well-respected, charismatic, smart, loved, admired and successful black president that absolutely drove the knuckle-draggin' racist right insane. So their support of the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator was.. and still is..  one big "fuck you" to the decent Americans who elected Barack Obama.

(sorry for the language.. just trying to portray the christian way of thinking as it relates to Obama)..

If a democrat does it, it = socialism. It’s been that way for decades.

Most of them don't even know the difference between AHC and Obama Care. I'm not worried about this at all though, it's been found that the AHC is actually very popular and can win in toss-up/red districts. Nancy Pelosi's key strategy for 2018 was to run on health care and it won. I think this is why Biden came out with his healthcare plan this week. Bernie Care (the plan Warren, Harris and Bernie have) is about destroying the private health care industry and agree with it or not no way that one will win out. The Biden Care has a chance.

Well, I mean in 50-100 years Greenland is going to have the nice beaches in the world. Start building the seaside hotels asap.

You demaclowns ignore the facts while loving fake news.

Come up with a better candidate than Biden soon or the election is already over.

Fake news? Out of curiosity is he going to campaign on eliminating the debt he promised to erase after increasing it by 20%?
