Izzo would get annihilated by Lavigne. Love Izzo, but he's not the guy I want debating the merits of the basketball program or the OTL hit piece - I'd be much more comfortable with the Jones Day guys

Not their area of expertise. My guess is that Lavigne is a very skilled interviewer and she's got a very strong legal background from her involvement in the various lawsuits with MSU. I have read quite a few of the pleadings and, through them, I can tell that she's a ruthless bitch. She would call MSU, demand records, and then remind MSU that ESPN won a lawsuit again them, and demand records. That's why the 2017 case emerged. The day after learning about Corley et al, she called MSU and demanded the names of the kids. MSU refused. MSU then went to court to block ESPN from getting the records because Ingham County Prosecutor told them NOT to disclose the records because of pending litigation.

And how do you think she is at being interviewed? Dwags' fantasy was a question and answer session both ways. She doesn't defend herself well on Twitter when being questioned.
