I've decided that one thread listing the departures of anyone you see fit would be a great idea and we should do it annually.

He actually had the slow developing kind of ALS, but 40+ years is still pretty amazing.

By the way, if you haven't seen "Theory of Everything", I think it's one of the best from Hollywood in the 21st century.

Hmm, I didn't know there were two different types of ALS. And yeah, I've seen Theory of Everything. Pretty good.

My dad was in the Korean War, protecting the Nebish Island lighthouse while in the US Coast Guard. We used to tease him about that, and he’d always say there were two buses, one for the USCG, and one for the Navy, and that he accidentally got on the wrong bus.

And dad did his job, too. Not one Korean hostile invaded the Great Lakes, let alone Nebish Island, during his time in the service.
