“I looked at his hand, and it looked pretty good to me,” Izzo said.

Much smarter people than me (which obviously is a lot of people) suggested a 3 week return might be possible.

I'm not a doctor but I've injured myself plenty to play one on tSwill. Using my Izzo translator: They opened him up, dabbed some gorilla glue on it and now we wait to see how quickly the bone heals. Could be as short as 2-3 weeks if he drinks his milk. Longer if he doesn't.

Pur remaining schedule:

Obviously the Mich game the toughest game of the six. But none of Purdue's games are gimmes.

Yeah, Aherns is a must. If it’s a chronic back thing, I don’t see how that young man can do it.

Re: 2018/2019 Hoops Thread - Year 1 of the Foster Loyer Experience
It looks like we have a 2 seed locked up and we avoid any rematch games against Pur and Mich till Sunday. So my GAF level on the BTT is pretty low. Play 'em all. Definitely give Cash more rest and I wouldn't play Ahrens at all.
There has been a lot of Tillman or Ward chatter lately. I"m not sure why people are making it out to be an either or scenario. Play both. Before Ward went out there were times we had Ward, Tillman and Go in s in the lineup. With everyone healthy, this is my starting/go to lineup.

Yeah I concur.
People are doing the Tillman or Ward thing because of the matchup vs. UM. Not sure how much it would have mattered and we'll never know. Certainly our ability to switch with them would have been diminished if Ward were in there. Love Nick and he's working his ass off this year to hedge but if he switches on to Simpson there's no way he's sticking with him on drives to the lane and blocking his shot like X did. And we're comparing Defensive prowess against Teske vs. D against Wagner. They're very different players offensively.

Re: 2018/2019 Hoops Thread - Year 1 of the Foster Loyer Experience
We play Indiana/OSU winner Friday 12:30
If we win on Friday, then Saturday we play:
We play winner of Wisconsin vs Maryland Or (Rutgers/Nebraska winner) 1:00 p.m.
If we win Saturday we'll be playing Purdue or Michigan.
I won't care if we lose on Friday or Saturday. If we have to play on Sunday, I'll be pissed if we lose.
Wakes, I"m in section 113 row 16.

I don't know. Yeah I guess I want to win the B1G Tourney. I want to make the Sweet 16 or better bottom line. Sad to say that's my baseline. If Nick is Nick maybe we bump that up a round.

I guess I'd like to see them win Friday, especially against Indiana (I think tOSU may already be on spring break -mentally), but do you see much of a difference in NCAA tournament seeding if we lose Saturday vs win it all?
Looks like we're a 2 seed either way.

Yeah I think we're a 2 and I don't see us making it up to the 1 line or dropping to the 3 regardless. And I don't really care about seeding anyway, it's all matchup dependent.

Just looked at Lunardi, I guess we'd have an outside shot at a #1 if we win out. Think I'd rather give Cash & Ahrens a couple extra days off.

Did anyone ever really figure out what happened with Langford? Is it something that is career ending? The whole, "We can't figure out what is wrong with him" ordeal has me concerned.

Coach said in Sr night festivities that he would be back next year. Didn't say anything similar about Ward, though. Ward is gonzo.

The way Tillman and Kithier have come on makes me a whole lot less concerned about Ward's departure.
