The entire column was a good read. Thanks for posting. Notice in the first piece after the scum writeup is an observation that Enos is unlikely to last as OC at Miami.

the funny thing about the UM faithful is how, suddenly, finishing 3rd in the Big Ten east and 5th in the Big Ten overall standings is considered a positive trend.

they're basically the new Notre Dame.. a program whose glory days are a generation behind them, multiple teams across the CFB landscape have not only caught up, but have surpassed them.. and they rely on a game of smoke and mirrors in a futile attempt to stay relevant.

Really not trying to bust your chops here, but you say that like it’s an easy thing to do. If you’re not Alabama, and lately Clemson in football, or Duke in basketball, then you’re a team that needs everything to go right in every game played, plus, you need the three teams I just mentioned to be in a down cycle. Look at MSU: But for the ridiculous multiple PI flags thrown vs ND, we might’ve been looking at a title, or at least a title game. Every single thing you control, plus a bunch of things you can’t control, all mesh into a trophy.

Just to add ... she didn’t “yell” but you can clearly hear her get irked. I don’t hear her saying “enough” like Stoney said (he was there, btw) sounds like she said “no”. When I listen to it the guy asks about how bad do they want to win that game he said “yeah, we really want to win it” then the reporter asks, “you personally?” And then you hear her say, “yeah, noooo” like a sarcastic no...he doesn’t want to win it personally.

Yeah, we were the best team in the country in 2013, IMO. If there was a 4 team play off then, or if we got in the BCS Championship game, I think we win. I remember watching that FSU/Auburn NC game and having no doubt that our D would handle either of them, and neither had a great D themselves. OSU was better than both of them. Yes, Clemson beat OSU in the Orange Bowl, but OSU wasn't all that up for it after losing the BTCG.
