Where is Mid-Michigan?

If you think Up North is only the UP, does that make Mid-Michigan somewhere between Gaylord and Mackinaw City? The Up North debate needs to be settled before Bob defines Mid-Michigan for the rest of us.

This means that Pantry's favorite Mid-Michigan sports personality is whoever does Sports Overtime on 9&10.

though I've lived in the lovely town of East Lansing for 24+ years, I'm certainly no expert.. but this would be my general line of thinking:

north of Mason, south of St. Johhs, east of Portland and west of Howell = mid-Michigan.

Where ever Central Michigan University is.

broadly Mid-Michigan is defined as
an area starting 10 miles
East of 131
West of I75/US23/M14
South of 10
North of I94
