tWife just made all of us grab a piece of paper and take a few minutes to write down everything we are sad, concerned or afraid about. We each shared our list. Then we wrote down things we are happy, grateful or not concerned about. Sounds cheesy, but it worked really good. It led to additional questions from the kids. It might help.

We're not prepared for any of this in any way. There will be long-term emotional and mental health-related issues impacted by this. Depression, alcohol/drug abuse, domestic abuse, suicide rates - all will increase expoentially.

The more we can talk about things and help remove the stigma of needing emotional support, the more we can impact those numbers.

Its okay to cry, to be uncertain, to be fearful, to be angry. We need to support family and friends and allow them to support us.

That is good and thank you for sharing. I am thanksgivings (autocorrect and too funny to change) that I think by and large everyone here has been on board that train for about two weeks. And hopefully we've all spread that message to our friends and family.

I still think everything is going to be ok. We will spread this out. We will come up with treatments. We will get immunity over time (if it doesn't mutate). But yeah a lot of immune compromised people are going to die over the next 10-14 days.
