Tucker has posted a couple of photos of him working remotely on Twitter and told SSN his staff is utilizing video conferencing to conduct meetings. The staff is still “relentlessly recruiting electronically” while visits and face-to-face contact are put on hold...

“On the football side of it, I’m doing my team meetings with Zoom, using YouTube as well, our position coaches are using Zoom to meet with their players online three days a week,” Tucker said. “Our strength and conditioning staff is also using Zoom to group me, to make sure the players have their workouts on videos and demonstrate the techniques, and getting all the help they can get online and making sure they’re still connected.”

Serious talk that the Olympic Games will be postponed. They are scheduled to start on July 24th. If we still have serious concerns about transmission at that point - where we still want to prevent large crowds from gathering - the college football season will be canceled or postponed in favor of a start date further into the fall. That means a shortened season.

You also have to consider player safety, and part of that conversation will not just be the virus, but the loss of summer workouts and fall practice.

I don't see it getting cancelled. Maybe delayed a bit because of the training aspects. IMO, it will have passed through a good portion of us by that point and we'll have better treatments in place.

Agree in the Olympics though. Bringing people from all over the world and sending them back out again, seems like a really bad idea. Training is even more of a concern, given the timeline. Olympic training is all about peaking at the right time. But let's wait till May and see where we are at.

Hey so I can reserve my seats for 50 bucks I guess instead of buying the season pack right now... anyone know if that will apply to my tickets if I get my tickets and if I get 50 back if I don't?
