I did not get a stimulus check but I got a mysterious envelope from Beaumont and opened it up and it was a 'refund' check for $411. Not sure wtf so I called the number and they said BCBS overpaid my PT bill from 2018 when I hurt my neck and it was sitting in an an account undistributed so the system processed a refund. No arrogant self-serving tiny dick name/signature on it yet, either.

Good news. After trying for weeks was finally able to get on the fed site "Get My Payment" to enter my bank info for direct deposit of the stimulus. You also need to enter your adjusted gross income from your 2018 return and the amount you either had to pay or were refunded.

Not positive but pretty certain you don't have to use numbers from your 2019 return if you've already filed it.

Also not the stimulus payment, but my wife self-employed wife just got her first unemployment check retroactive to mid-March. She gets $844 a week, $244 from the state and $600 from the feds. It kind of puts the stimulus payment to shame.

She won't make shit this year (in a good year she is into six figures) but I still having a hard time with the self employed getting unemployment. But I am not one to turn down money.

nah - there is a note on the envelope (I'm looking at it right now) that says: "Forgery of endorsement on Treasury checks is a federal crime. Maximum penalty is a $10,000 and ten years imprisonment".. then just under that it says "If recipient is deceased, check here {with an empty box} and drop in mailbox".

I figure I wouldn't fare very well in prison.
