Right now, if you want more taken out of your paycheck and a 1000k down payment, you can get an Acadia. But I stick with the equinox. Nothing down, and they take $70 out of each paycheck for it. I can use it as my own, I have a gas card, and I don't pay any insurance/maintenance/repairs. I dig the arrangement.
Excellent deal. Get a new vehicle every 2 years?

It’s every 3 years or 80,000 miles. Whichever is first.

I think we’re going to get a 3rd row seat vehicle to buy once my husbands lease is over.

Acadia and Traverse are solid 3rd row options, as are Explorer and Durango.

Turtleneck will stop posting idiotic shit after you stop saying American cars are every bit as good as, say, Lexus or Audi. Or Ford.

And Joe, maybe if you hadn’t ordered a GM ride, you would have it by now. Ordering something is often taken as a hostile act. The Koreans assembling your vehicle are going to spit on your seat.

Everytime you go in a dealership those muthafuckers try to sell you on something... I actually used the "build and price" tool on the website and tried to get a salesman to find me what I wanted... Probably went through 5 dealers before I just ended up ordering it. (Do the dumbasses know GM dealerships are a commodity in Mi? One fucks with you, you are probably 15 min from another...) The damn salespeople lied or tried to sell me on something in their lot, bunch of irritating stuff...

If "the rich guy" in every small/medium sized MI town wasn't the son of the son of the guy who started the local dealership we wouldn't have these arcane rules about how to buy a car.

Just go get your car from the bottom of the ocean so we don't have to hear about it anymore.

Magic Johnson did a Quality Dairy tv commercial about a donut called the Double Dribble. That’s the most apt connection between the two of you.

I'm very sorry you are as unaware of automotive reality as he is.  I'll place blame where I see it.  C&D was a major contributor to the "Big 3 vehicles are shit" mentality many in the US still have.

Had a subscription to C&D from when David E. Davis was editor to the early Csaba Csere era, at which point I couldn't stand it any longer.  C&D was within driving distance of all Big 3 headquarters and major proving grounds, but their writers got free lavish trips across the ponds to review foreign offerings.  C&D turned into what most of the media is now (bullshit), years ago.  C&D would adjust comparison performance graphs for publication to make foreign vehicles look better against Big 3 vehicles, whether they won or lost by either shortening or lengthening an axis.  Didn't matter if a Big 3 vehicle clearly won based on performance, the article writers would complain about the feel of the door handles, look of the dashboard, or something equally as stupid and judge a foreign vehicle as the winner in the comparison.

Make no mistake.  I'm fully aware most Big 3 vehicles (except pickups and SUVs) sucked compared to Japanese vehicles from the mid-80s to mid-90s.  Definitely not the case anymore, but many still believe that crap.

And, for any youngsters bred under the notion American vehicles are shit...take a look around and try to find a pre-80's Japanese vehicle.  Pretty much none. They were fucking garbage from drivetrain to body structure.

Mid 90's? try mid 2000's. Unless you want too make the argument that a 2005 Buick lacrosse was a bute, Clark. I'll take the Lexus ES330 for 4k more

There is nothing wrong with a 2005 Buick LaCrosse. I drove one for the better part of a decade, loved that car.

Was a nice ride.

Many in the US have antiquated ideas about GM, Ford, FCA vehicles.
